Document Management and Record Keeping

The main focus of the learning in this knowledge module is to build an understanding of the process for document management and record keeping in accordance with organisational policy and procedures and other related legislative and business system requirements. This procedure describes document origination, document review, updating of documents and the identification of documents to ensure the most current versions are legible and available at points of use. This also includes the creation, administering and maintaining of filing systems and document storage, archiving and eventual disposal

Studying in the aforementioned course focuses mainly on acquiring an understanding of the process for document management and record keeping in line with the organization's rules and regulations and any other relevant legal and business system requirements.
