A massage course is a program designed to teach individuals the skills and techniques necessary to provide therapeutic massages. These courses typically cover topics such as anatomy and physiology, massage theory, and hands-on practice. Students learn how to manipulate soft tissues, such as muscles and tendons, to relieve tension and promote relaxation. They also learn how to identify and address specific areas of pain or discomfort in their clients. Massage courses may be offered at vocational schools, community colleges, or specialized massage schools. Upon completion of a massage course, graduates may pursue careers as licensed massage therapists, working in spas, clinics, or private practices.
